What the artist says about their art: 

​As an artist, I utilize linocut printmaking techniques, and occasionally watercolor, to create work that focuses on imagery from daily life and nature. My goal is to capture the vibrancy and joy of small moments and scenes through high contrast depictions of pattern, line, and shape.  The process of carving each linoleum block and pulling each print is a mediative act. The linocut technique emphasizes an intimate connection with each piece, which I hope encourages my viewers to pause, reflect, and engage with the world around them. I first began printing in 2017 while in college, and I fell in love with the processes behind printmaking and the ability to create accessible art. When I'm not printing, I currently work as a mental health therapist. My studio practice plays a large role in maintaining my own mental wellbeing, and I enjoy sharing my work online and at art festivals and shows.
