Education Opportunities for Students

K-12 Arts Education

Artists-in-Schools Program

The Artists in Schools program goes beyond mere art activities by integrating various cultural aspects into the school curriculum. Artists involved in the program have provided students with exposure to art, music, storytelling, dance, puppet making, creative writing, theater, and crafts, enhancing their artistic horizons. This effort has been particularly valuable in schools lacking dedicated cultural arts teachers, ensuring students receive a well-rounded arts education.

We're always looking for artists who are interested in teaching! Contact us to learn more!

Mentors and Students Exhibition

The Mentors and Students art show is an annual event held each spring, showcasing visual art from Kindergarten to 12th grade students across Henderson County. This event celebrates the creativity and talent of young artists in the community.

More details on this year's event coming soon-we're looking forward to hosting in May, 2024!
