Calling All Artists!
The Arts Council of Henderson County is seeking 70+ artists to take part in A Square Affair, a special fundraising art event happening this April, and we’d love for you to be involved!
We’re inviting artists to create a 12x12 inch original work of art on a gallery-wrapped canvas provided by us. These works will be featured in an auction benefiting the Arts Council of Henderson County’s educational programs, which bring art into classrooms, support students and teachers, and help nurture the next generation of creatives.
A Square Affair builds on the spirit of last year’s successful Healing Through Helene event and celebrates the power of art to connect, uplift, and educate our community.
The auction will be held on April 18 at Marked Tree Vineyard, showcasing their stunning new facility. Artwork will be displayed for one full week leading up to the event, giving your work beautiful visibility in an inspiring setting.
Participating artists will receive one complimentary ticket to the auction evening, featuring live music, refreshments, and a joyful night centered around your art and our local arts community.
Your contribution will make a meaningful difference by directly supporting arts education right here in Henderson County. One square canvas can have a big impact.
Interested in participating? Please email us at [email protected] if you’re willing to create a canvas and have your work included in A Square Affair.
We can’t wait to see what you create and celebrate art together at Marked Tree Vineyard this spring!
