Block Captains and assistants

Block Captains are to be present on Friday night (9/25) from roughly 4:300-8:30 pm and 5:00-7:00pm on Sunday (9/27).  Block Captains will be assigned to one block on N. Main St. (100-500 blocks).  BCs are responsible for directing arriving artists onto their block as space allows.  BCs should will remain in the south intersection of the block they are assigned to.  From that location they will distribute artist packets as artists arrive at the intersection.  One lane is to be kept open throughout the block to avoid gridlock.  On Sunday, BCs and assistants will confirm complete tear-down of booths and then issue passes to artists for bringing in vehicles.  The BC will stay close to their intersection and direct artists onto Main Street as space allows.
