The Arts Council of Henderson County is thrilled to announce a unique opportunity for artists to showcase their talent at the upcoming La Vie En Rose event, held at the stunning Marked Tree Vineyard on June 8th. This year, we aim to immerse our community in the vibrant and diverse cultures of Latin America through art, music, dance, and more. We are seeking artists who are inspired by or rooted in Latin American cultures to help bring this vision to life.
We Invite You to Participate We are looking for artists across all mediums—painters, sculptors, musicians, dancers, and more—who celebrate the rich traditions and innovative spirit of Latin American arts. Whether your work is deeply embedded in traditional practices or pushes the boundaries of contemporary Latin art, we want to hear from you. Submission Details
Event Participation Selected artists will have the opportunity to display their work in a curated section of the vineyard, perform or present their art live, and engage with attendees passionate about Latin culture. We will also feature artists in our promotional materials and on social media, celebrating your work and contribution to the event. We understand the importance of cultural representation and are eager to collaborate with artists who can bring authentic voices and perspectives to La Vie En Rose. We look forward to your submissions and the chance to celebrate the incredible richness of Latin American culture together.

Since 1989, the North Carolina Heritage Award has honored our state’s most eminent traditional artists and practitioners. Recipients of the Heritage Award range from internationally acclaimed musicians to folks who quietly practice their art in family and community settings. Awardees receive a financial award and are honored in a public ceremony in downtown Raleigh that draws enthusiastic audiences. Several North Carolinians have gone on to receive the National Heritage Fellowship Awards, presented by the National Endowment for the Arts. These awards deepen our awareness of North Carolina’s diverse cultural traditions, and their importance to our state’s past, present, and future.
